It’s most likely the last Master Replicas Star Wars product to hit the market and it’s also one of the most affordable. This stormtrooper helmet, dubbed by some the CE, is a UK exclusive but there are plenty of folks bringing them over to this side of the pond. Originally a Play.com exclusive, you can now find these on Ebay as well as sites like redfordfilms. Is it worth the hundred-or-so dollars it’s going for? Well it depends. Check out my review.

I’d like to eventually do some work on the clone helmet I have. It’s one of the Kellogg’s giveaways from Canada. It’s not perfect but it can be modded into a great helmet.

I’ve got an okay set of armor i bought, like, 10 years ago, maybe more, but the helmet was crap. I’m finally getting around to replacing it, and this vid was incredibly useful. thank you. I think you just saved me like $400 bucks, cuz from what I can see from the video, It’s just not worth paying 5 times the price for the LE when this one looks pretty damn adequate.

p.s. I’m not a huge fan of the chest piece on my armor. I think I like the slimmer ANH version, seen here http://www.oohyeahzone.com/collection/anh-trooper-05.jpg Any tips on getting a replacement piece for cheap? thanks!! http://www.oohyeahzone.com/collection/collections-old-trooper.html

I don’t know of a cheap replacement chest piece. The best I could recommend would be to try cutting yours down slightly. Most of the high-end armor makers just don’t offers separate pieces I’m afraid.

Thanks! Happy Hallowe’en to you too, hoth6. Your best bet is RT-Mod armor. His is an original sculpt intended to duplicate the ANH trooper look for bigger guys. I was considering one of his kits for my next build. Contact info can be found at his site RT-Mod.com . He’s located in Canada but will very likely ship anywhere. You may also want to wait for the FX update that’s currently being developed, or give Vader a go. Post a comment
